I did read here an excellent article from Nester how can we fix easily leaks on curtain he did use black silicon. It was difficult to obtain here , but in every Tesco available car quick fixing paint. It is elastic too a bit. I did try it out , it works beautifully on a few spots, it makes speeds a bit slower. It works also if you cover all curtains , but makes speeds to very slow from 1/160 to 1/40 .

Silicon sealant is DOW Chemical product, may be reason hard to find, is 'advanced' material, restricted shipping to some country, just guess I don't know.

Here in US find it in Hardware store or with Building Materials Supply, is used much in new house building and old house repair.

Also at auto parts store, silicon sealant is often used instead of paper/fibre gasket for engine assembly.
