I have about 10 of them now. Planning to put them onto display. But many of them close automatically when turned off. Dark and moist make them prone to fungus?

You mean old plastic point-and-shoots? I put them in the box. When it gets full I take it out to trash.

I have several prized and better than average P&S cameras -- or, perhaps I should call them attached-lens rangefinders, since only a couple are true P&S cameras. I simply put them in my display case, which houses all my other cameras. They are consigned to a shelf that holds my miscellaneous gear.

Moist for fungus; dark not so much.

Pocket cameras I've seen close not so tivhtly.

Store like any lens. Gas-tight container with desiccant. Or low humidity environment.
