Yes, you've been kissed by the gods! Is it a good lens? Can't imagine
it not beeing a good perfomer...this is also the M42 version. |

It's, well, quite soft and dreamy wide open. Stopped down is good.
However, not an unforgettable lens. It was the standard lens for Edixa cameras.
It's a Tessar design.
The astounding thing about this lens is the number of blades. I tried to count them but had to give up, my eyes went together. It surely has more than 20 blades.

Thanks for the info about the lens, I think I'll cast my gaze elsewhere,
as I still want the Flek 4/20 and of course, the Volna 9.

Those are two better lenses for sure.
The Edixa Schneider is a good lens to have only from a collectioner's point of view, and to be able to say "I have a Schneider too!"
Of course, you will not mention that you have paid for it 8 Euros, as many people thinks that 800 Euros would be a terrific bargain for a Schneider lens
But as image quality and usefulness the Flek 4/20 and the Volna-9 are difficult to beat.
