Something I hardly ever do, ... making portraits.
I felt like a naked baby with my equipment. I was choosing for the SMC A 70-210/4 because of the automatic exposure control, so I could concentrate on focusing - no way to concentrate on composition.

Hallo Tobias,

really very nice pics. No reason to feel like a naked baby.

Thanks for your pm reply and the infos.

BTW I owned this lens (70-210) too. The purchase was more a lucky guess. It is not too bad Wink

Very nice. I like them all except the last one, where the hooves get chopped off.

Thanks for the replies, all !

@Rolf ... good purchase, you will not be disappointed.

Yes, shame that the hoofes are chopped off in the last one, they're gone. But still I left it in the series because it had some 3D-feel, faces of rideress and horse were sharp and I liked the expression in the face ...

Cheers
Tobias

Hi Tobbsman,

Very nice pictures. Good work.

Can I please ask how you did the frame effect of the inside border?

Thank you

A very difficult task and you did well! My fave is the second to last. I tried shooting greyhounds recently and boy is it difficult, this couldn't have been much easier!

Did you pre-focus?
