Help with Aires Coral 4.5cm 1.9 + Tele-attachment

Hi all, hoping someone can weigh in — especially kymarto!

I snagged a 4.5cm 1.9 recently and then I saw the sample pics kymarto posted and just had to have the tele too. (The 1.5 is in my future… maybe distant future, we shall see!)

Got the tele attachment and it will not attach. Looks like it's blocked by the beauty ring. It spins but does not catch at all. But, I think the threaded back might be too loose to catch on even if the beauty ring were removed.

I'm guessing there are probably 2+ versions of this lens and/or 2+ versions of the tele converter and I mixed them up. But there's not a lot out there on this topic so I can't figure out which is wrong (or both?).

Final image is not accurate, the forum software rotated it. I balanced the tele converter loosely on top of the lens.
