Hi my brother is doing some work for a company who are currently developing on-line mapping/routing software
http://www.sanoodi.com/
It is a "mash up" of google maps and flickr with the possibility of uploading a GPX file from a GPS device but you can also enter waypoints manually on the website to share with others.
They are after people to try it out sign up, break it, offer suggestions etc whilst it is in development but what they are really after is 40,000 users in order to take it forward (8K at the mo). At the moment it is only being used for cycling/running/walking routes. maybe this could tie in with Photographic walks and the like.
Thanks.
