Terrific comparisons Olivier. The Angenieux goes a long way to showing it's capabilities are as good as its reputation

Don't you think that the Angenieux shots are warmer than the Steinheil and Helios-40 ones ?

I would say that Steinheil and Helios-40 shots are not bad too.

I know it could sound strange to compare lenses with so different caracteritics. But I found it interesting to see what I could do with them.
I find it interesting to see that I can take approx the same shots with them despite their focal differences.
And, looking closer I see the tiny differences in depth of field, contrasts, details in the dark parts.
