Excellent portraits!
can you give more information about where your helios was produced and production year?
I have the impression that this lens starting from 44-3 have different bokeh from 44-2, it may depend on where it was produced. _________________ My flickr gallery:

Thx guys. Helios 44-3 was made only by Belomo. I had about 4 copies of it. All four was great. Different serial no 89x,90x,92x,93x - all looks identical. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/atheist_lenses/

The contrast of the lens is a bit low. Probably, this is caused by the plenty of cleaning mark in the lens? I am not sure.

Hi Olivier,
didn´t "see" you a long time here at the forum. Everything under control ?
These shots were made at a Sushi Bar where my wife and myself sometimes spend our lunch break. I asked the cook whether I could shoot some pictures and he agreed (but without his face)
Have a nice weekend.
Friendly greetings

Sure, everything's ok.
Have a nice sunny week-end too.
I just shot some beautiful roses in my garden with 2 great silver lenses : the Helios-40 1.5/85 and the Steinheil München Tele-Quinar 2.8/135.
Friendly yours.
@Peter :
Very well done.
It looks like we have the same tree around.
I shot some pictures like yours beginning of may with a Flek 4/20. _________________ Olivier - Moderator
