I don't like these pictures... I love them ! The way you play with the light and the background is wonderful.

Here are two shots from my Helios 44M. Both shot wide open on the Canon 6D. The Helios really shines on full frame, I'm impressed! Full of character

Very nice pics here!
The Helios 44 is a real instrument for art.
Am I the only one loving the flares of these lenses?

This is the 44-2 wide open:

Wow, how could I have missed this thread? I might as well add to it. I own a Helios 44M, a 58mm f/2. Really, I've only taken a few self-portraits with it mounted to my EOS DSLR. I don't use 50s much on that camera.

My Helios is contrasty and sharp. I like it.

Hello!
Today i tested my favorite lens when i was a Pentax user (K7,K20) on my current DSLR, Canon 600d.
It do not swirl like it did on the FF Sony a850 but i like it anyway.....

Helios 44M-7 all att f2.

Everybody should have at least one Helios 44M.

The second is with M42 macro ring.

Recently acquired, simply version 44M with no other mark. Optical quality seem good, but th aperture faulty not to be stopped down beyond f/11.

A few snapshots from today's walk with Helios 44M-4. No swirl for today, but lens is capable of swirly bokeh on my EOS 600d.
