I got a box full of XR Heligon lenses 100mm, from a guy working at a hospital. Huge piece of glass. Didnt expect too much as my other XR lenses have disapointed me. Only blurry and soft with no sharpness at all.
Being curious I adapted one to a NEX and must say I did not expect this. Its pretty cool for close up work.
These must be the later version of the XR Heligon, as some are even labeled as Qioptic others as Rodenstock. I guess they are from some digital x-ray machine as the quality is a lot better than the older ones I have.
It has an intersting small depth of field.
What do you think ?
