Did you know that the HDTV resolution is 1920x1080
That mean that every smaller pics you keep on your HD will look like a postage stamp on your next TV
Contax 50 1.7 on 400D resized to HDTV

That's good info, now we know how to resize to make good slideshows for TV

Yes - thats one reason my laptop has a 1920 x 1200 display, so I can see HD pictures and movies.

Although, 1080p is only one of sev eral resolutions (the new Nikon D90 DSLR takes movies at a lower, 720p resolution although the liveview can be sent out to a 1080p display.
