Finally - I did it Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing . The first photos taken with my new toy and my very first BW film developing. I know - very "raw" but I did it alone. Ilford Delta 100 Pro, Rodinal, stopper water/vinegar, Ilford rapid fixer, Kodak flo 200 as a final wash

Thanks a lot everybody. It is just a beginning. Everything is new, so it is not easy for student like me. The next step would be color, then developing pictures, and end - slides. In couple of weeks - large format, bw and color later. Long way. But this is time of the year that evenings are longer - so nothing is impossible. Experience with film will teach me how to deal with digital different way I do now, I hope.

Voytek - Thank you for showing these, I like the feel and the B&W tones.

Do you remember some of the exif data, f-number and shutter-time?

poilu, hexi, Orio, lahnet - You've made my day.
I used 4.0/50 Distagon lens. It was yesterday, I am not sure but in 95% three first shot I made with F11 1/125s, bridge was taken @4 1/60s.
This was in one of my most favorite places - State Park Mathissen by Utica, IL. 3 first shots from hassel were not changed, just resized and compressed, 4th one was very dark so I had to improve it but without any sharpening.

I show 3 other photos taken with Canon 1.4/24 L but all pictures was taken in full manual mode.

Great results, Voytek! I really like that last BW shot, the bridge!

Thanks, I agree that is the best so far. I choose this spot and prepared to take a shot about 5-7 minutes. At least still have overexposed areas, sun was very harsh Sunday. I have to learn how to scan negatives the best way possible. But.... love the film, end excitement when I do the processing, when film is drying - to see the results. Regarding this digital sucks, no emotion because you can take 50 shots of one place, and for sure you can pick a nice picture in seconds from the card. Regarding film - quality is the first and there is nothing like capacity of memory card Laughing . This week I will start my first film with Koni Omega - portraits only. And BW only.

Yes, I do plan to make prints with help of my friend who owns Noritsu lab, and in 2 weeks or so - to develop true photos in darkroom.

It was Distagon (chrome) one coating 4.0/50

Started to do different scans and PP

Hey Voytek,

I see we're both learning the Hasselblad & B&W self development Smile

I've found Delta 100 to work great with Kodak D76 and Ilfotech DD-X... especially DD-X, though it's a bit on the expensive side (I'm actually all out now... hoping to get another bottle soon). Absolutely grainless smoothness Smile

I use Rodinal (develop) and Ilford Rapid Fixer, first I have to learn "how" before I will try to do some "research"

Hej Voytek

Try Rodinal @ 1+50 with the Delta. I've tried this film once it has a very "metallic" rendition, i think its very good for landscape shotz. You shouldn't be disseapointed.
