Hi,

A few weeks back I bought a complete box of manual lenses on a local flee market for 10€.
Taking into account that some lenses might be rubbish, I tought I still made a good deal.
I have some interesting lenses in the box and will test them later on.

The first surprise was this Hansa Automatic lens. M42 mount, mint condition,.....
Without any expectation I tested it and I was very surprised.
Just a normal Lightroom develop. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have a clue who might have been the manufacturer of this glass?

It was made by Sankor. Hansa also used Tokina as a supplier for some of their other lenses.

Any 3rd party lens with serial number ending in E is Sankor made.
Even some of Sankors own lenses used E at the end of the serial number.
Here is a link with the Auto-Sankor version of your lens.

I have some other lenses that I need identified.
Will post samples and pictures later.

All in all not a bad lens it seems.
