After I had bought my lens I have found a review of this lens on this forum.
The sample picture provided over there was awful. At first, I was disappointed.
But then I've tried my lens Laughing
I love it ! The built quality is very good. It produce very good colors and contrast. And I love bokeh. Here some samples no photoshop, just resize.

Fantastic! Some of these old Hanimex / Hanimars were actually very good and this one looks great! It would be interesting to see a photo of the lens itself as some were rebranded Tamrons and Tokinas...

I have a superb Hanimar 135mm Smile

I could be totally wrong, but it looks like a Chinon to me...

Great Lens!

I just snapped a 28mm 2.8 Hanimex at eBay for 10€ and it's very nice as well! Seems there are some old Hanimex glasses worth looking at!

I think Graham is right. It looks like a Chinon to me.

There's one of these at my local charity shop. I nearly picked it up last time I raided the lenses, but it was attached to ANOTHER PRAKTICA. Laughing

LOL!

I know I wouldn't use the lens much as I have a 35mm Flek. Hanimex seem to go very cheaply so really only a buyers lens.

Over the weekend I got rid of 4 Prakticas. I'm tempted to message sellers and tell them to just throw the camera in the bin and just send the lens. They're usually broken anyway.
