Hello
I bought cheap two lenses with the well known black leather cases.
Both cases smell a little suspiciously inside.
One of the lens has first signs of fungi inside.
The inside of the leather cases looks like artificial textiles.
The inside of the upper and lower circular part between the decorative outer skin and the foam inside are from cardboard.
How should I treat the leather lens case reliably against fungus?
If there is a successful way, i will treat preventive all my lens leather cases.
Thank you!

I'd try some laundry bleach mixed 50-50 with water. Soak a rag in it, then wipe down the interior thoroughly. Then I'd set it out in the sun to dry (sunlight will kill fungus).

Now, I'm not saying this is the best way, just the way I'd try.
