Covers almost completely micro4/3.

Without modification mounted on c-mount-micro4/3 adapter with c-d ring it cannot focus past 15-20cm as the register of d-mount is shorter than on c-mount. Not sure if it can be modified for infinity as the back glass element is only 1-2mm from the rear end of the lens.

Should be a nice lens for close ups.Best clarity and smaller vignetting goes around f 2.8

Here how the lens looks like

Seems like my lens is 100% identical to the Yashica Cine Yashinon 38mm f/1.4

Does anybody knows if it can be modified for infinity on mft?

Very nice samples! Looks like a great portrait lens. I like the toy car too. Too bad it won't work on a DSLR.

I've stumbled upon the following flickr set where similar d-mount lens is used on mft.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/jore0902/sets/72157622065253452/with/3846827081/

Seems like the focusing helicoid of the lens is removed and instead of it 7mm mft helicoid is attached on custom made adapter.
I need to get a lathe Cool.

Nice samples. I like Fujita lenses. If I thought these would work properly on a Pentax Q I would be tempted.
If I ever get extra money this is the Lathe I was planning on buying.

Well I have the Cine Yashinon version (which is indeed 100% the same in design, although the front ring on mine is silver and not black) and it does work on the Q. I am not convinced with the border quality though; here are some sample shots: http://forum.mflenses.com/pentax-q-and-cine-yashinons-38mm-and-13mm-f-14-d-mount-t44865.html
