Mostly shot at the 23mm wide end; last six are stitched in Photoshop.

#1 - 100mm end, wide open at f4.9

100% crop - sharp enough for me, no CA, high contrast, I like it a lot

Great shots Ian, is this the kit lens?

The bokeh on shot 4 looks a little fake...

Hi Phil. It's a fixed f1.8-4.9/25-100.

Well spotted on #4, that is using one of the advanced modes it has which takes three shots and tries to simulate bokeh.

Cheers. This series was shot in pretty much the strongest sunlight we ever get here, so the worst possible situation as far as needing high DR is concerned and the XF1 did okay. I used -2/3 EV compensation to avoid blown highlights then pulled up the shadows in photoshop as I prefer blocked shadows to blown highlights.
