Yes! Very nice.

A typical "effect" lens. Not really usable for general photography but great for that "special" shot.

I like the lens a lot, I find if I'm feeling bored or uninspired this lens can make anything look interesting or fun, I find it well suited to black and white work and have been using it for that more recently, especially moody shots of people.

Like Lucis says it's an effect lens, some pictures I get with this lens would just look boring and plain if they were taken with a much more expensive and technically superior lens, it shouldn't be compared to conventional lenses but appreciated for it's unique qualities.

Can anyone recommend a good seller on ebay for this lens? I want to make sure I get one of the good ones and not a cheap knock off.

thx

Just picked up a 25mm and 35mm from Amazon.. Similar prices to ebay plus free 2day shipping.

Just love these lenses. Still trying to figure out the focusing on my E-PL1.

Here are a couple that I have posted:

Very nice series. Almost a miniature effect.

The aperture blades of my Fujian got jammed so badly, I had to remove them!! Shocked
So, "interesting" performance, rubbish built!! Evil or Very Mad

Shot with the Fujian 35mm f1.7 & E-PL1....

I took the lens apart cause it started to feel a bit rough when focusing. Seems very simple to put together.

Is there any lenses like this in the 70-100mm range?

Hi guys. Been a while!

Been heavily focused on my other hobby of RC cars/trucks for a long time but gradually getting better at combining the two hobbies, so I've slowly been picking my cameras up a little more regularly.

I misplaced my original Fujian so I recently purchased another from Aliexpress and was pleasantly surprised to discover the build quality has improved somewhat!

The focus and aperture rings now have a machined grip instead of those awful rubber grips that just slid around all over the place.

Also, there is much less play in the focus mechanism, so it's easier to get the focus right by going back and forth slightly to find the sweet spot. With the older ones, there was some play in the mechanism, so you could change the direction you were turning the ring, and the front element wouldn't actually move for quite a few degrees, which was frustrating and not intuitive.

Image quality seems about the same. Decent centre sharpness and usable at the edges, but the extreme field curvature means you can't focus the centre and edges at the same time which can actually be beneficial for portraits etc, as the out of focus periphery gives the impression of an even faster aperture.
