I was the lucky recipient of a fairly rare Pentacon Oreston 1.8/50 from
none other than the GRACIOUS Lucis Pictor. Thanks so MUCH Carsten!

I decided to mount the beautiful little lens on my Pentax ZX-5N and shoot
a little bit of X100 porn. Laughing

The colors, the bokeh, and the clarity of the lens, and the
overall ergonomics of this older lens looks as wonderful as any
modern lens.

I really love 50mm lenses, as they all seem to be so pure in their renderings.

This Penta-Oreston focuses very very close, which is an added wonderful
bonus. Again, THANK YOU Carsten.

Very nice Larry (although looks underexposed on my monitor)! What a great gift of Carsten!
[too bad the cam never made it to me, but well, I don't have enough time anyway...]
