I offered my minty Pentax 1:4/50 Macro-Takumar with 1:1 magnification for M42 mount.

This is the 1st production version of the 50mm f/4.0 macro, which is also the only version with a preset aperture control. It is able to go to 1:1 magnification.

including both caps.

Man, I'm drooling, I really am.
No, not this time, I have to be strong, to buy the lights.
Next time for sure.

Maybe next time the Takumar is not in such a very very good condition. Mine feels like new (have not used it very much - shame on me!)

It does look like new indeed.
Lights, lights, I can't work without them.
But you can send it over and I pay, hmm, say september or october Very Happy

Wow, it looks really like new, and it would be the perfect companion for my Pentax Bellows 100/4 ... Unluckily, i have already burned my lens budget for the quarter ... Unless you want to trade it with another lens Wink ...

Cheers

Is this an urgent sale? maybe it is wise to hold onto it Rolling Eyes

Hm. I can wait.

Price up again.

This is the quite rare preset version - ideal for DSLR use (especially if you go macro).

If you want to spare money go for the newer version with 1:2 magnification.

I didn't actually buy it, was just curious as to whether or not I'd sell mine. I have three versions of the 50mm, plus the S-M-C 4/100 and Bellows Takumar 4/100, so have been thinking of thinning out the collection a bit. Yes, they're all used, but perhaps not often enough to justify having them sit around, eating my food and not paying their way!!!

Maybe try dropping them on the Oz ebay for those who don't venture out to the other ebays? We certainly don't get the variety that the world gets.

Good luck on your selling. The condition of your lens is simply too good. I was looking for one in more "user" condition for a lower price. Smile
