... too, today ...

For filling a very prominent missing link in my collection.
After recently not taking a ML 55 1.2 near mint for 85 (!) Euros
(and biting me in my own a.. because of that the next day at the
photo shop) I managed to claim a Auto Yashinon 55mm 1:1.2 Tomioka
today at a ... hmm ... reasonable Wink price.
Once it arrived I of course will show it to you!

Cobalt, what is the reason why you need to know all those Yashica serial numbers? Are there lens model variations that you are trying to reconstruct?

Orio,

reason is that at a point in time in the future I would like
to be able to find out by serial number which model it is
and when and where it was produced ... similar to the old
Zeiss offering.
Unfortunately Kyocera was/is 0% helpful in that respect,
despite trying to contact quite a few people there with questions
in regard of the old production stats I did get zero reply Sad((

Cheers!

Hey Bob,

"here are some more ML serials for you... "

... not really as with most ML lenses the serial
is near the bayonet and not on the front Laughing
