Some close-ups from a forest. It is a special place because of strong wind and because the trees grow in sand all the way down to the see.

The trees struggle to survive and grow in strange shapes

Canon 5D
Jupiter 85mm wide open or almost wide open.

#6 for me.

I like these a lot. My grandfather collected and father still collects these twisted tree branches and trunks from the forest, then they made doorhandles from the small and sculpture art from the bigger ones.

Very beautiful series with interesting view to nature's diversity.

You found wonderful animal and anthropomorphic forms in the forest.

very good pictures, i can't choose one i prefer most. Just to say that i like this kind of images, many people walk in forests etc, but not many do notice those strange shapes, so well done .

Wow- lots of comments Shocked

I am very happy you like them, I was having a little doubt about these, thinking that they only was interesting if you actually had been there.

Thanks.

These are all fine representations of the forest mileu, but #6
stands out for me. It is an image of rejuvenation and well
as regeneration. The intimate details of the phloem surface
really gives me a feeling of almost touching the wood. REALLY
fine work, and you could probably already guess that I
LOVE forests. Smile
