PS I have been using that same lens in a P6 mount and find it less good on distance shots eg landscapes.

I don't think so Patrick this lens designed for landscape shoots, my copies are so powerful in normal tele-photo usage.

It could be the adapter/mount - I am still trying to work this lens and the other P6 out. I find a softness beyond about 100m that I dont get with my nikkor. I love the rest of the rendition though - colours, OOF etc.
