I found this while attempting to ascertain whether or not T-mount and YS mount flange focal distances are the same (note:
they are the same, both 55mm).

I like the explanation that subtraction results negative means lens can't mount inside body. I hadn't heard it explained that way before. Much easier to understand the principle than my "sort the list by flange distance; find lens camera; lens will mount on cameras with greater flange distance."

Hey, thanks! That's a really good YS reference which I had not seen prior, probably because it was posted years ago and I missed it.

If you have time, please consider adding that booklet to our library here on this forum. I would so so myself, but it is your find and you deserve the credit.
