This is a Yashica Electro 35 from a spanish colleague that suddenly got stuck the advance lever.

I've removed the top cover.

In principle there was nothing wrong, and after a while, I noticed something locking the advance lever: a transparent plastic fragment in the mechanical path.

That has ended to be the glass from the exposition counter..

I had to disassemble a good part of the mechanism to get into that intruder. Once removed everything went fine.

Now I'm looking for a small piece of transparent plastic, thin enough to fit under the top...

(Shots taken with the Sigma mini-wide and the Canon EOS 10D).

Regards.

Jes.

Is this your first post?.
Tell us about yourself, please.
