First snaps with the Nikkor-H 1.8/85

A terrific new lens and bad weather and no time!

But I had to do some snapshots with the Nikkor:
(ISO400, between 1/25 and 1/80 sec, wide open, hand-held, JPEG, no pp)

Ooohhh I don't just want one I need one

I thought I:'d spotted a bargain BIN on ebay but the dreaded fungus in the description made me pass. If you spot an AI'd one cheap give me a shout...

Personally I also like the 85/2, which is a lot cheaper, but they are very different lenses. The 1.8 is almost as good as the 1.4, which is normally accepted as one of the best ever made by nikon. Love the Fed Zorki, my brother has a pair of them which he still uses, along with a Rollei TLR which he found in a garbage dumpster!
