Hi,
Here are some "action" shots made today with my bazooka ....
A beautifull lens but verry verry heavy and definitively not the ideal lens for sport shots! Focusing between f/4 & f/5,6 at 500mm on a moving subject is quite a real challenge.....

Perfect sport pictures. Pro quality.
The lens is astounding. Canonians say they have the best long teles, but I'd not be so sure. I don't think it's really possible to do better than this Nikkor.
For long teles it's really a head to head Nikon-Canon for top quality
Only Leica would be same or more but their long teles cost like 2-3 of my cars so I don't count them - would be unfair to the other contenders and perhaps also a bit immoral. _________________ Orio, Administrator

I would think it is nearly impossible to get such nice pictures with a cannon like that! Great work. |

Thanks Minolfan....
concerning Canon tele-lens, I have no idea if Canon as also a 4/500 MF lens......but if 90% of the sport photograph use Canon (AF lenses of course!), there is probably a good reason!!!!!! _________________ All my lenses are for sale, nikkor, Angenieux, Zeiss etc.....
