I was just browsing on the inter-web looking at nikkor lenses and then I saw a Nikkor 135mm f2. I also thought I saw a Contax Zeiss 180mm f2 before. What other fast telephoto lenses are there? It has to be above 100mm and faster than f 2.5

Kilfitt / Zoomar made some really fast ones, but are mainly collector's items now at $$,$$$
http://www.cameraquest.com/kilzoom.htm

The most famous being the f1.3/180mm http://www.cameraquest.com/zoomar13.htm
and the f1.2/240mm

But I have a feeling this is not what you wanted to know, rather which "recent and affordable fast
telephoto lens is available" - right?

Quite often I see f1.8/135mm lenses sold under various brand names (Polaris, Spiratone, Tokina, ...), see
http://forum.mflenses.com/viewtopic.php?t=47422

Also the Contax Planar f2/135mm should not be forgotten.

For the sake of record, and on top of the ones already mentioned, Nikkor used to offer also a 105/1.8, a 200/2 ED-IF plus a (rather rare) 300/2 ED-IF (also Pentax did announce a 300/2 at some stage but it never reached production).
At 135mm there exist many pieces of fast glass by various manufacturers, ranging from f/2 to f/1.4.
I can recall Canon had produced a 200/1.8 L in FD mount too.
I'm sure other forum members can add many more pieces of info here.

As far as exotics are concerned, Astro Gesellschaft GmbH used to offer some pretty fast Astro-Berlin lenses, namely 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 165mm, 200mm and 255mm in their Tachar/Pan-Tachar f/2.3 range, plus a 150/1.8 Pan-Tachar, and of course their remarkable f/2 ranges sporting 100mm & 250mm Gauss-Tachar lenses as well as 100mm & 150mm Color-Astrar ones.

Victor, for fast Soviet lenses designed no later than 1963, go here: http://www.lallement.com/pictures/CatalogGOI1963.pdf and look at pages 23-30, which list the lenses in order of maximum aperture, fastest first.

Did you mean long focal length lenses or only telephoto lenses? I ask because not all long focal length lenses are telephotos. As, for example, my 200/2 S.F.O.M.
