In a manner of speaking - they're triggered by sound triggers that run on a timer. I've always used homebuilt triggers rather than the commercial ones that are out there now. My latest builds are using custom PCBs and won't fire for anything less than the sound of a launch.

I like the Zuiko, enough that I tracked down a donor lens to replace the front element after it suffered too many launches. But I haven't used any other 24s, so I can't make any comparisons. _________________ Rocket Launch Photography

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that shot of the thrusters up close. The one captured with the Tamron. Very cool. So much texture and detail in there. Incredible and well done! _________________ David
