Congratulations to Spanish members!
Spain's victory was well deserved, they have the highest number of talents today: Torres, Villa, Iniesta, Fabregas, Senna, and others. All great players.
From Italy's point of view, Spain's victory puts a new light on our tournament: we have been the only team Spain did not score a goal and the only one not to have lost to Spain in 120' (only at penalties).
Next year we will meet again in Confederation Cup.

Yeah, big fiesta in Brussels this night (I was leaving the Couleur Café music festival at that time). It wasn't long for me to guess who won

Thanks for the pics naplam! They bring back memories for me from 1966 - I went up to London the night we won the World Cup and joined the revellers in Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly. I don't remember coming home again!
Now if it took 44 years for Spain to win again, maybe that bodes well for us in 2010! (I wish there was an emoticon for "fingers crossed")

Did you take photos?
Two years ago I had the movie camera with me most of the time - I did not take out the reflex except for one hour or so because I was afraid it could be ruined - here in 1982 people walking the streets some people was taken and thrown in the city fountain! In 2006 it was not so violent  but I was still completely washed more than one time  At the time I had the 300D and the kit lens.
