Anyone know about something like this?

There used to be on almost every item send to Europe or worldwide.
Now most send only to Germany,

I've seen that too, but on ebay.co.uk - several sellers recently were unaware of their auction being UK only when I mailed them to ask whether they'd ship abroad.

ebay may have switched to default to national sales, where it once was international unless otherwise specified.

I often ask ebay.de sellers if they will ship outside Germany. So far, only one has declined.

Every German seller I've dealt with so far has been happy to send to Ireland.
Ebay are always fiddling with things, often to the detriment of the search or buying, despite what they claim.
