I was looking for a while for a reasonable price on repairing the cracked casing on a K-r, and mirror replacement on another K-r.
By chance I came across a web page for Luton Camera Repair Services. Although Olympus is their main thing, they said they could do the work.

After emailing and some phone conversations I took them up on what I felt was a good fair quote for the work. The camera casing repair I had actually considered doing myself - I had acquired a non working K-r off ebay to provide parts. The mirror replacement was a camera I had acquired cheaply with a view to repair given that I had the parts in hand. However it turns out that mirror replacement requires a full dissassembly (looking at it, it might be possible to do a jury repair without dis-assembly, springing the old mirror out of it's plastic frame and replacing with the new one). In the event, the technician replaced the whole light box.
I have been using the cameras for a few weeks now and can say that these guys seem to have done a very good job. Both cameras have been working great. So based on this experience I am happy to recommend them.
