Hi!

Yesterday, my parents visited us. Since my dad also likes to take photos (but he has switched to digital p&s completely, "unpretentious, straightforward and available", his words!) we, of course, used the only short sunny spell to get out and shoot.

This is one of his photos from that day:

(Taken with a Kodak DX7440, some post-production)

And this is my father. I took this picture with the Jupiter 37A 3.5/135 at my EOS350D. PP with PSCS. It was a stormy day, as you can see. Wink

He turned 70 last year and he is the person who taught me the first steps in photography. My dad has always been an example for me with his calm, understanding and forgiving character and thoroughly friendly disposition.
I have to thank him for so many things...

Carsten

He surely has the face of a beautiful man inside.
And you have captured it very well, my friend!

I mean... isn't the Jupiter-37 just lovely?? Very Happy

I have only taken a couple of shots with it, and I can already totally agree, Orio! It's fantastic.
I am really thinking about selling some of my other 135mm lenses, since I guess I will not use some of them anymore. Wink
