There is a Golden rule in macro.
With f8 its mostly okay. Then focus on the eyes (wich i did not in this case) and make your compo.

And very important: a tripod

Short DOF usually bothers me in macros but this one is great!

They defend their spot like real dragons, they also use so much energy hunting that every few minutes they just have to sit and tank sun/enery.

The first shots i took with the 300, then i had the time to switch to the 100 macro. Every shot closer. Made a lot off pics, Classic shots, But with this I tried to make something different and it turned out to be the best shot.
