It was in the very beginning of this year.
Cold and grey winter weather.
Doves with 5D MkII and Tamron SP 500 F8.

1- iso 1600 1/320s


2- iso 3200 1/250s


3- iso 1600 1/400s


4- iso 800 1/60s

Donut-Bokeh in #2 is cool
You have to wait for better light! You need less than 1/1000s or a pod to get sharp pictures with this lens.

You're perfectly right.

and I like the first one because unsharp picture suits well with the wind in its feathers.

i have a 500 lens and i also find it hard to use handheld. i actually am glad you reminded me of it because i think i should put it up for sale...

i like the last one as i have a very pedestrian disposition towards sharpness! Laughing
