I'm in the process of trying to take apart a Canon FD 200/2.8 breechlock lens for cleaning, after noticing some odd-looking (probably fungal) spots in the front part of the lens. I've managed to remove the two front elements, but it seems that the spots reside in the rear of the third element. So far I have not been able to find a way to remove the third element from the front.

Does anybody here have experience with this lens? Is it possible to remove the third element from the front or should I be attacking the spots from the rear of the lens?

ps. as this is my first post, I'd like to say thanks to everybody on the forum for producing such an invaluable source of information and inspiration. I've learned a lot from here in the past few years Smile
