Dennis Stock, famous Magnum photographer, has passed away today.
He had a great strong photographic eye. His B&W was so intense. He was a master of B&W.

I would like to remember him with the photo of his that I love the most: Miles Davis at the Birdland:

RIP - was always curious about who took that shot of Miles.

I knew the picture, being a jazz musician myself, but I didn't know the photographer.

Thanks for your posting, Orio.

Dennis Stock was also the model in Andreas Feininger's famous picture "The Photojournalist", although he's completely unrecognizable.

Thankful for such wonderful photos he left us with. Sad news that such a great artist passed away. May he rest in peace.
