Anti88: You got some great bokeh circles. Nice.

Olivier: Really nice shots - composition.

Thank you Woodrim for your kind comments and for making me mount the Cyclop on my cam again. Smile

This thread has been dormant for too long. I had the Cyclop out over the weekend - here are some shots...

I really like this lens, the beautiful and warm autumnal colours of South-Carolina.
Very nice shots Woodrim !
Very Happy

Looking at the ended sales on the bay, average price for good versions is around 150 to 160€ + delivery.

Can't believe people pay those prices. Should have bought more of them on the german ebay back in the day.
Don't miss that lens one bit.

Crazy. I paid $42 for mine.

littleearth: It may be an acquired taste and it sure is challenging to use.

Mine was around 50 euro with working night scope and orginal bag Wink

I consider to sell mine since I have the Helios 40 too, but the collector in me struggle to agree Laughing

Sunday went one for 221 €.

Btw. there is another night vision device, called T3C-2, which has an 100/2 M42 lens.
It is interesting for its large aperture, but the optical quality is not that good (sharp in the center, soft in the corners).

The prices for this lens are so weird. I am tempted to get one for almost 100euro. The seller said that is unused.
I nave two helios, but this Glass looks really special Laughing

I recently bought a 150mm/1.5 night vision lens with Helios diagram (by LOMO). It's a glass used on T-54 and T-55 tank. It will be like a 3kg Cyclop maybe Very Happy . It's still in Ukraine, can't wait to see how it will be. The only sample I found with such lens show quite poor quality (soft focus), somehow close to Cyclop.

I just won this one at an auction, but have no idea what it is. Almost looks like the 100mm f2 maybe but not quite.

Has anyone seen this one, is it junk, maybe an undiscovered one. I do not see any markings on the lens and it is on a h3t-1.

Thanks for re posting the picture for me! I am not so sure it isn't the lens from an infrared version of the scope? I found this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Night-Vision-Device-Cyclop-1RI-w-Infrared-/381188508108

If no one knows what it is or how it performs, I will post the results if it is usable or not.
