Country Views. There is something about scrap, rust and old machinery.

Nice pictures. The colours are great. I particularly like the blue revealed under the peeling green paint. _________________ John

For this subject need a "dramatic" glass like Carl Zeiss Distagon 35mm f1.4 in my opinion , but true I not like much this subject. I wish to see some beautiful English garden photographed by you or from your amazing bird shoots. _________________

It may seem strange to you but I prefer to photograph such things.
I would be happy never to take a ‘Chocolate box’ image but they do keep presenting themselves as easy targets.
The World is reflected in the rubbish we throw away.
IMO the photo of the scrap digger and the old farm transport asks so many more questions and has so many more stories and ghosts than a pretty photo of a Rose.
The transport tells the whole story of a declining or changing farm industry.
sichko. Thanks for your comment. Don't you just love love rust and peeling paint! _________________ Pentax K10D & K100D. Many Tamron Adaptall SP lenses, Fujinon f4.5 400mm. A loved Lens Baby 2, Lubitel triplet +++ and many many film cameras. Mainly a Digital user.

Yes I do love rust and peeling paint. It's man-made but so is much of the "beautiful" chocolate-box countryside that we see. Without man-managed agriculture many of the open fields (in the UK at least) would turn into scrub, and then into woodland/forest. _________________ John

I also like to see pictures of old machinery that has lived its useful life and now is deserted. _________________ Ron |

Absolutely wonderful! |
I like the images on your Photo Site. The rusty gear is great. I also found the lens test pictures interesting.

With this type of shots I always like the textural difference between metal, paint and rust and the surrounding fauna. _________________ Pentax K10D & K100D.
