This year's Concours d'Elegance, held at the Meadow Brook mansion,
is reported to be their most successful Concours event to date. This
year's event was the 30th consecutive annual event, marking quite
a milestone in the event's popularity.

This set takes a closer look at some of the finer details. I learned about
how I could better compose during next year's event, though I feel I
managed to get some very good shots for a photog n00b. I'll have to
see what I can produce from next years' event, now that I have the DSLR.

1. Grand estate.

Beautiful details superbly rendered. Almost as good as being there (well nearly almost)

Great shots - particularly #8 with the reflection of the clouds.

Can you tell us what camera/lens(es) you used ?

Thanks for the kind words.

John, this was my first good set using my Powershot S3iS with a CPL filter. This was when post-processing sharpening began to make sense to me.

(You'll notice that I am also reflected in # 8 ) Smile

They're all nice. No 2 is my favorite.
