Digitalized with 5D+Industar 61 on bellows.
Film is Kodak Ektachrome 100 (I am very disappointed about it):

These aren't so bad, Orio. The first two pics have some weird shades of
greens on my monitor. Last shot is very nice!

I don't know if I did something wrong with the "scanning" or if the film totally sucks.
I also made a roll with the Bessa-T and Ultron 35mm and I got the same results (muddy detail, off colours).
The light was nice and the subjects were good so normally I should have obtained different results.
The lenses quality is out of question. So it's either bad scanning or bad film.

I got this 10-pack of Ektachromes because they were cheap. I'll only buy Fuji from now on.

How did you light the film for bellow scanning? The problem could lie there.

The same way I used for previous "scans", I pointed at the sky and photographed at 5500°K.
That used to work very well with Fuji, perhaps it's not as good method for the Ektachrome and I should have worked on a different set up that could give better results (I am too lazy to set up a studio Rolling Eyes also I don't have the room for it).

The pics look quite nice
At this size I cannot evaluate details
they look too bright and the color of the grass in the first 2 seems off
You can make direct comparison as you have the slide.
I didn't test enough but the dslr sensor cannot get all the dynamic range of a slide. Maybe the exposure to the right lost details in the highlight
or maybe the yellow lamp you used shift color that cannot be recovered by the WB
edit: I just read the reply about the 5500°K

Orio,

Can't you use flash to copy a slide?

When I copied bunch of slides, I used flash and worked well.
DSLR can do the same thing much easier, since you can adjust
colour temperature. You can do it in a rainy day too. Very Happy

I'm sure it's possible, but I don't have a flash cord and I don't know how to set it up and to syncronize with the camera.

Still very harsh to me. Cheap film result.
