Oh to have all those lenses in M-mount Rolling Eyes

That is a wonder set.
With what you have there one could do nearly 100% of their photography.
Well this one anyway Wink

Well... I would love the Hologon 16mm... but I am just Orio not Bill Gates Smile

Yes but I recall that Orio has had some really nice luck like the 2 hollywoods for cheap and the 2 3.5/100 sonnars also cheap.
Hopefully maybe the lucky will come back for the Hologon 16 also.
I would love to see some images from you and that lens Cool

Of course you could always settle for a heliar 15 Wink

Well, I'm afraid that cheap won't be enough, since the average price of used Heliogon is about 1500 Euros Shocked
I would need cheap3 (cheap cubed) Laughing

Well, if one day I'll find the money to buy my dream rangefinder camera:

then maybe the heliar could arrive Rolling Eyes

Yes that is my dream RF also.
I only hope someday that it is made with a digital sensor and the best features from the Rd 1 like the manual shutter winding.
A nearly silent camera compared to most.
The shutter sounds like "click" nothing more.
Fantastic!

Bring it to us Mr. K Laughing

Speaking of dream superwides, read the specs of this:

http://tinyurl.com/2fp89v

quoting:

Quote:
This ultra wide-angle lens is the pinnacle of modern rangefinder lens design. The Distagon T* 2,8/15 ZM is a rectilinear lens with very dynamic perspective effects for critical architecture and interior photography. It is a fast lens for the focal length, allowing for hand-held photography under difficult lighting conditions. The lens is made in Germany and incorporates a very complex optical design using exotic optical materials such as barium dense flint with a high refractive index and fluor crown with anomalous partial dispersion. It uses aspheric lens elements and an internal focus mechanism for distortion-free images and consistent performance over the whole frame and across the entire focusing range.

Then read the price:

Uheyooo (in japanese expression)

It is a nice set, Orio.
But I have this. Mr. Green

(You do not have to be Bill Gates, but when I ask for my wife to bring
it back from Japan she found out how small the lens is and how big was
its price. She still mentions it occasionally. Smile )

Two extremes>

The top is at the restraunt on CN-Tower to show very deep depth of field,
the bottom one to show G-Holgon 16mm can have bokeh (at 30 cm to peony).

Wow, do you have an architecture shot made with camera not inclined?

PostPosted: Sat Sep 13, 2008 9:08 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Yes, Sir.

I have fixed "tomb stone effect" by PS otherwise no fixing, the second one
was hardly changed I think. The both are at the same place, different directions.
By the way I never used the centre graduated filter, it make the lens F16. Crying or Very sad
The film used is Fuji Reala, scanned at 2,400 dpi with V700.

And two more at the same place, close to where I used to work.

The top one is scanned by my now defunct Nikon coolscan IV,
the bottom one is scanned by V700. I do not remember neg or pos film.

Very good, I can say the same as for Heliar, distortion really negligible for such a superwide lens.

Amazing! Absolutely amazing!

Excellent collection, Orio. Looks great!

First, I thought, now look how we are. Orio shows his fantastic collection of 21, 28, 35, 45 and 90mm and still knows another lens that he really would like to have.

But then I have seen the Hologon shots and now I completely understand why. Laughing Wink

Wow!
These are beutiful samples Koji.
That is one amazing wittle lens.

It does not look like the center filter is needed.
Or maybe you made adjustments in PP?

Tha last two show some evident vignetting. But with the gorgeous treatment of architectural lines that this lens makes... WHO CARES? Cool
