Hi,

here some samples of my last film roll with Contax G2 and Carl Zeiss Biogon f:2.8/28 mm. Film Fuji Sensia slide 50 ASA and scanned with Nikon Coolscan 5000 ED and Nikon Scan Software.

Thanks for viewing and any comments.

Superb combo! Nice pictures, I miss more sunshine from them , I never heard Sensia 50 did you downgrade an ISO 100 film to 50 ?

A bit bright and color less like my last roll of Sensia 200. Sensia 100 can be lot brighter and more detail reach this is my impression perhaps I am wrong of course. I see no evidence of superb lens and good slide film.

Hi Attila,

you have complete right. It was my mistake. The film was not a Sensia, it was a Velvia 50. Sorry for that.

I tried it out to find a film with smaller grain for the following scanning process.

May be that the bright and the color are less like other Fuji films. Pic. 1 were shot in the evening, pic. 2 was the weather more foggy and pic. 3 looks like it was in the evening.

Ah that is explain why not bright, Velvia strictly used for nature photographs by me. I like Sensia too for general occasion and number one favorite for all occasions is Provia.
