This is the best idea to play with different lenses, ask our member VGR perhaps he plan to make not just for Olympus.

I would be very interested in chipped adapters for Nikon mount. Especially if they could be programmed for a given max aperture and focal length ...

The register distance of Nikon is 46.5mm
Only Nikon lens can be mounted
You should buy a Canon to enjoy Leica,Contax,Olympus and many others Rolling Eyes
With Olympus you can even mount Minolta and perhaps Canon FD

Without chip or with chip this kind of adapter would be very useful for every camera owner who want to play with different lenses. Infinity support is not everything, without infinity you can make nice portraits, tele photos , macro shoots etc.

Thats because AF confirm on Nikon bodies just depends on the lens being in focus, and does not require an electronic connection. So there are no special 'AF-confirm' xx to Nikon adapters.
