Congratulations!
This is a killer lens. I saw studio portraits made with this lens. I mean with studio lights and equipment, you know. They beat the Leica equivalent in my opinion. This is one of the best Contax lenses in the catalogue.

Not to mention, my #1 overall absolute favourite lens for the smoothness, precision, and feel of the focusing ring.

WOW!!!

Now, you are also getting into these spheres where money doesn't matter. Wink

Kidding, congratulations to your first Oberkochen lens!
(This is something that my collections still lacks...)

Attila

You reached the top of the hill. Looks like a real gem and with Orio's praise and the other reviews I have seen of it - we cannot wait to see how your daughters look with it. Smile Smile Smile

Yes, very nice. I'd say that's putting a 135 to its best use.
And, instead of the nymphettes we typically see on (other) photo sites, it's pleasing to see a full grown woman featured.

I remember seeing a test in an old magazine between different 135mm lenses (combined with its original teleconverter). In terms of contrast and resolution, this lens won. The Leica ended third place, and the Mamiya SX second place (this is why I will never sell it).
