Always wondered if there is a big difference between the Pancolar 50mm f2 and this Pancolar 50mm f1.8..
The 50mm f2 can be significantly cheaper , but quality wise, is it much worse than the f1.8? has anyone had an experience with the Pancolar 50mm f2 ? |

They are different lenses, f2.0 is oldest , certainly coating is less good than latest ones. All good enough to anyone with 50mm f2.0 you can expect low contrast, easy to fix in post process if need _________________ -------------------------------
