Ok I couldn't resist and put it on my 5D
Wide open it produces a fogy image, inner elements has something on them I don't know what are they exactly but can be haze, when stopped down it produces nice result.
As usual full size 5D images:

first two are f:2.8 results, the last one is at f:8:

Yes definetly it's but I guess it is a better choice for a collector and I want to use my glasses
Screw mount is way too long than all other M42 lenses that I've owned and seen. You can see that from the first photo as there are still some part of the screw mount goes deeper by passing the adapter like 1mm. But to be honest I coudln't fiure out how I could manage to get these shots Then suddenly mirror has begun to go up buck can't come back again, loosening the lens released the mirror. _________________ My name is "Yalcin", and exactly "Yalçın" and here you can find my MF samples:

I haven't used it since the original post as wide open results suck. Can you help me to define what is the problem. I couldn't take a photo that shows this yellowish stuff in the inner elements but you can see it in the video that I took:
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x966eo_mistyflek35_webcam
As we can clarify the problem, I will move to the second step _________________ My name is "Yalcin", and exactly "Yalçın" and here you can find my MF samples:

I have one of these alu Flek 35s too with the same internal haze problem. In my copy's case, the haze *looks* like it's either on or within (balsam fault) the doublet in the schema below. Either that or it's on one of the other elements.

Unfortunately, my home-made tools won't budge the rear retaining rings due to them being super tight so I haven't managed to get inside as yet to confirm the problem.
Time for an even bigger hammer... |

Hello Yalcin,
The Flektogon 35/2.8 is not hard to service (my sample was badly affected by the yellowish internal haze, as you can see on my blog). If you want to clean it, browse to my blog at http://k10dpentax.blogspot.com and then click on the Repair link in the Categories menu on the right ...
Hope this helps
Cheers
P.S.: too pity that this lens is not 5D-friendly, it has a really nice "3D" rendering ... _________________ Please visit my blogs Shooting with a Pentax K10D / FF Visions

Thanks, great link.
My first attempt will be returning back the lens, if not then I'll clean it myself. _________________ My name is "Yalcin", and exactly "Yalçın" and here you can find my MF samples:

Got mine all cleaned Yalcin.
The cloudiness was on the elements either side of the cemented doublet which itself is in perfect condition.
Took me all of five minutes to sort out once I had ground my home-made tooling to suit.
Lens now mounted on a nice old Pentacon FM.
Give it a go yourself. |
