Got my hands on a Zeiss Apo-Tessar cine lens of a large format camera after a workshop:

Aperture was stiff and could only be closed with brute force (two hands). I first suspected dried up lubricant on the aperture blades, but they were quite clean. The aperture dail turned out to be clogged by old grease which restricted movement almost completely.

Disassembly is straightforward:

this lens only consists of a front element, a rear element and the aperture mechanism. Both glass elements are to be removed by unscrewing them.

The aperture mechanism is fixed by two retaining rings, which are also screwed in. The 16 aperture blades are hold in place by the aperture ring which simply can be taken out of the lens body. The blades can be removed next.

To remove the aperture dail, the filter lever has to be unscrewed and taken out of the lens body (see picture #2). The aperture stopper screw has to be removed from the aperture ring and the dail then can be unscrewed from the lens body.
