Does anybody have any links or resources on how to go about opening and cleaning the lens of Canon FL 50mm f/1.4 lens?

Thanks.

Not sure how much it's like to an FD one : http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-161.html. Have a look and see if helps. The front ring (the one with the writings) might be very tight, in this case seeping a tiny bit of light oil between the ring itself and the barrel can help.
Fellow member Rick Oleson's page is a real mine of information.
