Good Morning Guys,

I keep getting frustrated with this lens. I need to clean the apperture blades - I know they work only while connected to the camera.

The problem is.

When i try from the front i only get the first lens off, then the second group is simply there, but there are no screws, nothing to loosen it up or disassemble.

When i try to do it like the guy from this thread:

I am unable to UNSCREW the front block! The sunshade and the focus ring keep getting in the way leaving me with about 5 mm place to get my grip on.... I do not have an idea how to remove these two parts or leave them on, but unscrew the front block...

The cleaning procedure should be easy, yet after opening the lens...

Any hints will be greatly appreciated.

Dariusz

Here the link.

Update: I tried to disassemble the lens from the back... Which with the FD mount was a VERY BAD idea. Well i looked at this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUDn9jHkcQU

Around minute 8 he disassembles the whole back unscrewing only 3 screws, so i was like hmmm.... why not try from the back. I realized that by my type of mount it is way more complicated to remove the whole FD Mount... I unscrewed the 3 screws, and.... Wanted to pull that piece away, but apparently mine is somehow connected with the body by a metal piece thats responisble of closing and oppening the apperture blades.

After i put it back together i noticed that the apperture ring doesnt "click" anymore, and is really loose.. So did i break something? Now after pressing this metal thing on the back the apperture closes (Before it did not)

I can post some pictures too if you would like to see it... Otherwise if i am unable to repair it i will have to use only wide open 135 which is stupid. Please if anybody has experience with CANON 135 FD F2.5 S.C. i would appreciate it you could share your knowledge with me.
